Telecommunications Engineer

We require a Telecommunications Engineer to maintain, integrate NSS node with interface to satellite telecommunication equipment. The NSS node consists of MSC/VLR/HLR/AUC, GPRS, NEWBRIDGE and Comverse SMS center. NSS Engineer should be able to perform; Cold start and the factory acceptance tests; Basic &advance O&M; Independent ACA,SCA and ECA packages implementation; Support integration, testing, regression testing and troubleshooting of GSM & Mobile Satellite features as a team member; Configure, write and correct all exchange DTs; Call trace analysis (voice/data) in AXE, K1297/K1205 protocol analyzer on the Gb & A-interface and correlate with the corresponding HNS debugging tools (knowledge of GeTS terminal) required; Handle NSS customer interface via CRM ; Independent report writing with some reports requiring Crystal tools. The job requires BS. degree in Electrical, Communications or related fields with 10+years experience specifically in the GSM/Cellular environment using latest Ericsson equipment; 3+years experience specifically in the Mobile Satellite environment; Knowledge of CME20 software, R10 & above; Advanced CME20 O&M; C7, ISUP, MAP, SCCP & BSSMAP is mandatory, together with advanced knowledge of PLEX and ASA. Ability to cold start, maintain configure NEWBRIDGE 3600.
